Come to the Golden Gate Branch to explore climate change adaptation and resilience strategies. We will discuss the book “Being the Change: Live Well and Spark a Climate Revolution,” by Peter Kalmus – stop by the branch to pick up a copy!

At this 3-part series, we are joined by Brian Garcia, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, as well as local organizations: East Bay Regional Park District (Oct 14), West Oakland Environmental Indicators Project and SF Bay Conservation & Development Commission (Oct 21), and the City of Oakland’s Environmental Services Division (Oct 28).

Pushing the Limits: PLACE is a library-hosted reading, viewing, and discussion programs for adults in rural and under-resourced communities, made possible by grants form the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the National Science Foundation.
