Please join us for a celebration to kick-off the 2017 Community Resilience Challenge at the Petaluma Regional Library!
Share local snacks and libations, connect with like-minded people and get inspired! Enjoy an evening of lively discussion about the campaign and ways we can help you mobilize individual and group projects in our community. Come a few minutes early to nosh and network! We’ll end the evening with a homegrown demo that will help you get started with the know-how to preserve your own harvest.
The Community Resilience Challenge is an annual community mobilization campaign that inspires thousands of citizens, leaders and groups to take practical action to save water, grow food, conserve energy, reduce waste and build community. From April – May, participants play their part by registering their actions online while local non-profit Daily Acts provides resources, educational opportunities, and special incentives.
PLEASE register online and help us determine how much food to provide! https://dailyacts.nonprofiteasy.net/PublicPages/Event/Details.aspx?eid=31023
