Curious about how composting works on a local farm and a horse ranch?

Join Lyngso and Webb Ranch to learn more about horse manure composting in a local farm! This class will review the method of composting using an aerated static pile, and how it is preferable when composting manure and other materials that can otherwise be problematic if not composted properly.

Tracie Meskell is a licensed landscape architect who has been practicing in the Bay Area for 18 years, and has been consulting with Webb Ranch for the past 2 years to set up and manage their compost division. She is a member of the Webb family and is passionate about helping the farm achieve its current and future sustainability goals. She graduated from California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in Landscape Architecture. Prior to that she grew up on Webb Ranch where she developed her love for gardening and nature.
