Join us for a 5-mile moderate-to-strenuous loop hike that begins at the 140-foot high Coyote Dam built in 1936. On our journey, we will learn about the park’s natural features as well as the history of the Ohlone Native Americans who lived in this area for 4,000 years. On the first half of our trip, we will ascend a gradual hill and enjoy panoramic views of the valley and then descend to our picnic area by the lake. Our return path affords us views of Coyote Lake. Picnic lunch in reserved picnic area and parking pass are included. BAO will arrange carpooling.
