Tucked in a canyon of San Geronimo Valley, this lovely trail follows a salmon-bearing creek where, with rain and luck, you might spot fish moving upstream. You’ll explore the lush understory, keep an eye out for birds, see if you can pick out California nutmeg among the other conifers, and try to find a sunny spot for lunch.
Bring layers as it can be quite chilly in this shaded gulch. There is little elevation change but the trail is narrow and uneven in places. Distance: 2.5 miles.
