Excelsior: Community Tree Care Day 3

Help care for young street trees to make sure they grow up healthy, strong, and beautiful.

You’ll learn how Friends of the Urban Forest staff cares for street trees through careful pruning, hardware maintenance, and health inspections. Then, practice your new skills on several young trees alongside a team of fellow volunteers. You’ll travel on foot to each tree within a few blocks of the meeting location. No experience is needed! You’ll be provided pruning instructions and tools.
