Join us for a beginner bird walk (2 miles) as part of Point Blue’s 44th Annual Rich Stallcup Bird-A-Thon and learn about the positive impact of habitat restoration while learning how to identify our feathered indicators of environmental health: birds!
This family-friendly beginning birder outing is open to all and will include a tutorial for those who want to gather in nature and learn more about birding and conservation science.
Point Blue’s 44th annual Rich Stallcup Bird-A-Thon takes place from September 15 to October 15 and is the country’s longest-running Bird-A-Thon. Point Blue staff, Board, and supporters form teams and choose a date and time frame to count as many bird species as they can while getting people to sponsor them per bird species or with a flat donation. By participating, you will support Point Blue Conservation Science and our multiple-benefit solutions to environmental problems in California and beyond with a focus on climate change.
