Help SPAWN plant native plants at our floodplain restoration sites in the Lagunitas creek watershed, which is one of the most important habitats left for critically endangered central coast Coho salmon. The focus of our habitat restoration events is planting natives and removing invasive plants at our two largest restoration sites, which are located in San Geronimo and Tocaloma.
Events held in March and May will be held at our Roy’s Riffles site; for these events we will meet across the street from 485 San Geronimo Valley Drive in San Geronimo. Parking is available through the gate.
Habitat Restoration volunteer events run from 10 AM to 2 PM. Volunteers are encouraged to bring water, sun/rain protection, and wear work clothes and close-toed shoes that have good traction. We provide gloves and tools.
