Saturday, February 15th, 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
The EcoCenter is hosting a special program put on by the Happy Hollow Zoo. Happy Hollow Park and Zoo is located in San Jose and houses a variety of animals from lemurs to jaguars. The Environmental Volunteers is hosting Happy Hollow for a special educational program, where they will bring a selection of their zoo animals to the EcoCenter! You will learn about a variety of ecosystems through interactive activities, and also get a chance to see the animals that inhabit them! Since it is the day after Valentine’s Day, Zoo staff will also talk about how love can happen in the animal kingdom!
Please arrive at or before 11:00 am as that is when the program will promptly begin. While this program is focused on kids, adults are able and welcome to enjoy this experience as well! You can contact Drew at drew@evols.org with any questions you have about the program, Happy Hollow, or the Environmental Volunteers.
The EcoCenter will also feature its own hands on displays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, before and after the Happy Hollow Program. Feel welcome to stay around!
