Help make Codornices Creek the welcoming oasis it should be!

Saturday, August 17 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Join Friends of Five Creeks on Codornices Creek on August 17th to help create an urban oasis for people and wildlife along almost a half mile of creek, from San Pablo to the railroad tracks.

Meet at 8th Street and the creek, one block north of Harrison, at the north edge of University Village, on the Berkeley-Albany border. The nearest address is 1101 Eighth Street.

We’ll remove trash and harmful invasives, with light and heavy tasks for all.

All ages welcome.

We supply tools, gloves, snacks, and good company.

Bring a re-usable water bottle; wear long pants, long sleeves, socks, and closed-toed shoe with good traction.

Groups of more than five please RSVP to f5creeks@gmail.com. Otherwise, just show up.

Parking is difficult. Please allow time to find parking, carpool, bicycle, or use AC Transit — Lines 52, 18, and 80 all come to the meeting place, and 72 is nearby.
