Are you looking for a fun fall adventure? Would you like to tell yourself, “Take a hike!”, and get out of the house? Perhaps you ate way too much Thanksgiving food and just want to hike your pie off! Well, let the outdoor fun begin! Join the Open Space Authority at Little Uvas Preserve the day after Thanksgiving for self-guided hikes and activities for the whole family!
Located in the southern Santa Cruz Mountains, Little Uvas Preserve offers up to three miles of easy to moderate level hiking through mixed oaks and pine trees. Open meadows overlooking spring-fed ponds offer excellent lunch, picnicking, and birding opportunities. Always remember to leave no trace and remove any trash or personal belongings from the preserve.
