Oak Woodlands GGPark – Volunteer Event
Saturday September 12th 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.

Our awarded Community Challenge Grant habitat restoration project gets underway on Saturday, September 12th. We need your help to get off to a good start!

We meet at the Horseshoe Courts entrance, up the stone steps from East Conservatory Drive.

A variety of tasks will make the required social distancing practical:

•Moving mulch from dumpsite to restoration staging site w mechanized assistance from RPD.

•begin ‘ grubbing – clearing ‘ of the restoration site

•preliminary spreading of some mulch

•watering

•A variety of tasks suitable for all levels of physical ability!

We ask that you bring a mask and your own work gloves. We will supply tools, snacks, water, and sanitizing materials. You will be required to sign an online waiver form mandated by SFRPD’ s Volunteer Dept.
