About this event
Join us in-person on August 14th to clear up some redundant fence line along the interior of the Laguna Seca wetland, a part of the North Coyote Valley Conservation Area. Removing this fence will remove barriers to wildlife in the area and help us restore the last and largest seasonal wetland of Santa Clara Valley!
Please ensure that you bring the following items with you:
Cloth face mask (just in case)
personal H20 bottle ( 3 liters minimum)
Your own snacks
Clean bandana for wiping face
Hat and sunscreen
long sleeves and long pants
sturdy hiking boots
You must have a Release of liability on file with us to participate. We also request your vaccination status and that you read our new COVID-safety protocols before you arrive in the field. We will email all participants by August 11 with the Release of liability and new COVID safety forms via Adobe fill and sign to ensure adequate time to review, sign and submit. We cannot take signed forms in the field.
Youth older than the age of 14 may participate with the consent AND supervision of a guardian. Guardians must sign up with youth for youth to participate and must email Kat Hill (email@example.com)to sign off on release forms for youth. We cannot accommodate youth under 14 years of age.
We will email all participants with more details for driving directions and meeting location on August 12. Please be on the lookout for emails from the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that hot weather may cancel.
