May 22, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

| Free

Did you know that 90% of the bugs we see in our gardens are actually good bugs? Encouraging beneficial insects is one of the best ways to effectively reduce the number of pests in your garden.

You will learn about:
• which insects are the most helpful
• how to attract and retain beneficial insects year-round
• choosing plants for good bugs
• organic pest management strategies

Practical for both veggie and perennial gardens, and fun for the whole family, especially kids who love bugs!

Led by the delightful and knowledgeable Suzanne Bontempo, who has worked as a professional gardener for over 20 years. She is an IPM Advocate, a ReScape (Bay Friendly) Qualified Landscaper, QWEL certified, a Master Composter, and loves teaching folks how to grow bountiful gardens that are also safe and healthy for you, your family, and the environment.
