Lets Talk Dirty: Composting 101

Thursday, April 14 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

| Free

Do you want to learn how you can compost at home and help to cultivate healthy soils?

Healthy soils equal healthy plants! Composting is the natural process of recycling organic matter, such as leaves and food scraps, into a valuable fertilizer that can enrich soil and plants. Fondly referred to by farmers, compost is considered “black gold!”

Waste doesn’t exist in an ecosystem, there is a purpose and function at each stage of life! Composting is a great regenerative practice that increases soil health, retains water, and sequesters carbon.

This introductory webinar will be led by Compost Gal’s Master Composter, Lori Caldwell, who will be going over the various ways you can start composting in your very own backyard or garden!
