Take advantage of the outer reaches of the county to enjoy the numerous species of birds that are found along the coast this time of year; some are migrating to southern destinations, some will stay for the winter, and some are year-round residents. This is a great place to see raptors, shorebirds, and waterfowl that aren’t as prevalent in other parts of Marin.
While this 3-mile hike doesn’t offer much in terms of elevation changes, you’ll find yourself traversing a sandy path for a portion of the journey.
