Limantour Birds

Every year a multitude of birds move through the outer areas of the county while migrating to their winter destinations. In late summer, many of them are already on the move pausing here to refuel before continuing their journey south. You’ll look for birds along the lagoon, foraging with the tide, and out on the open water.

Elevation: There is virtually no elevation change but you will walk in sand
