You are invited to protect clean water, healthy watersheds, sensitive habitats, wildlife corridors, and riparian zones in coastal Marin County!
As a gateway community, each year, coastal Marin hosts over 2 million visitors to national, state, and county parks, and open spaces that include agricultural land and small towns and villages across the rural and coastal landscape. Throughout the year, roadsides, creeks, and beaches accumulate trash in the watershed and tributaries that flow to creeks, bays, and the ocean.
This year, the Environmental Action Committee of West Marin’s (EAC) efforts are expanded by the Cleaner California Coast Initiative, a tri-county collaboration between Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino, and Leave No Trace to reduce coastal pollution.
Cleaning up roads and beaches will be happening in the following coastal regions:
Marshall // Inverness & Inverness Park // Point Reyes & Olema // Bolinas // Samuel P. Taylor & Platform Bridge Road // San Geronimo Valley
