Lower Nob Hill: Tree Planting

Saturday, May 6 @ 8:45 am - 1:00 pm

Free

Join us to plant and celebrate with a delicious lunch after the trees are in the ground

Friends of the Urban Forest (FUF) bring neighbors together to plant and care for street trees and sidewalk gardens in San Francisco. They are committed to growing San Francisco’s urban forest, building community, and taking a local leadership role in climate solutions by simply planting trees and gardens. Since 1981, more than 56,000 trees have been planted, totaling almost a third of San Francisco’s street trees.

You will collaborate with volunteers to plant 5 new sidewalk trees. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to get your hands in the dirt! Light lunch and snacks will be provided. Together, you will help expand the tree canopy coverage to provide the benefits of trees to our Lower Nob Hill neighbors!

The exact location will be provided.
Registration closes May 04, 5:00 PM
