Special talks on fire safety, California’s beautiful coastline, and our many garden allies.

April 5 – Steven Swain – Marin/Sonoma Environmental Horticulture Advisor free talk on “The Ecologically sound way to move your house (and neighborhood) off the fire freeway” – options for planting your garden and protecting your home that go beyond the typical “fire safe” plant lists.

April 29 – Obi Kaufmann – Artist, writer, naturalist with his latest book The Coasts of California.

May 5 – Frédérique Lavoispierre – Author of Garden Allies will present a talk and walk on the many birds, mammals, reptiles and insects that inhabit our yards and gardens and are our allies.
