Mitchell Canyon Medicinal Herb Walk

Join this meander ( 2 miles hike) around the base of Mount Diablo to explore the medicinal plants growing along the trails at Mitchell Canyon. You will talk about the modern-day uses of the plants you see and discover some of the diversity that this abundant ecosystem holds. The walk will begin in the native plant garden at the Mitchell Canyon Visitor Center, where you will start your journey into the world of local medicinal herbs and their wonder/magic.

This event is limited to 20 participants and there will be a $6 park entrance fee.
