Mt. Tamalpais Habitat Restoration and Guided Nature Hike
Habitat Restoration
9:00am – 12:00 pm at Lake Lagunitas Parking Lot/Pine Point
Come prepared with a positive attitude! Any other necessary supplies like weed pullers, gloves, and snacks/water will be covered. After the Habitat Restoration, volunteers are welcome to join a guided Forest Health tour of Lake Lagunitas.
Forest Health Tour
1:00 – 2:30 pm at Lake Lagunitas
Join the GrizzlyCorps fellow and science communication intern on a guided nature walk around Lake Lagunitas. Celebrate the changing season by looking for signs of new life. You will be visiting the spillway, footbridges, and Pilot Knob to see the different treatments implemented by Marin Water staff to improve and increase the resiliency of our forests’ health.
