Cool November weather brings out newts for their epic migration journey to Filoli’s ponds and creeks. Learn about the fascinating adaptations and “nest” habitats of these native animals. Paul will share his wealth of information about the newts’ biology, including physiology, behavior, and life cycle.

Paul Licht | Former Director, University of California Botanical Gardens at Berkeley
Paul Licht is a Professor Emeritus at UC Berkeley. Paul taught Integrative Biology for 39 years and served for 14 years as director and interim director at the University of California Botanical Gardens at Berkeley. He also served as Dean of Biological Science and Chair of Deans, Letters & Science for 8 years.
