Plant Natives on Berkeley Shoreline on MLK Weekend

Sunday, January 14 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

| Free

Join Friends of Five Creeks volunteers planting natives and removing invasives in the Brickyard Cove area of McLaughlin Eastshore State Park. This is an exciting opportunity to help with restoration in an area not yet open to the public!
Tools, gloves, water, and snacks provided. Meet at the south edge of Sea Breeze Deli parking lot, south of University just west of the I-80 West Frontage Rd., near the pedestrian-bicycle bridge over the freeway. Easily reached by AC Transit 51B or 81, or by foot or bicycle on the bridge or Bay Trail.
Dress in layers for changing weather. Long pants, long sleeves, and closed-toed shoes with good traction recommended. We work in a drizzle, but heavy rain cancels.
Groups of 5 or more please RSVP. Otherwise, just show up. Information: f5creeks@gmail.com.
