Water is Life
With each season it become more and more obvious that our climate is rapidly changing. The need to conserve and protect resources is increasingly necessary and can have a multitude of benefits, especially when an entire community is prioritizing watershed health and neighborhood resiliency. Rain is a free resource that falls from the sky on to our landscapes, it only makes sense to harvest and use this abundant resource whenever possible!
You’ll learn about the many opportunities to conserve and re-use water in the landscape and beyond. In partnership with the Sonoma Resource Conservation District, this presentation will highlight how you can incorporate rain tanks, rain gardens and climate appropriate plantings in almost any size site.
