Raptor in Boxes (and other big cavity nesting birds)

September 30, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

| Donation appreciated

Humans are having a devastating effect on wildlife habitat With declining bird populations around the world, it is important that we understand the situation and help them when we can. Mike Azevedo is the Santa Clara County Coordinator for the California Bluebird Recovery Program and has been studying wildlife habitat.
Barn Owls, Western Screech Owls, American Kestrels, and Wood Ducks are cavity-nesting birds, like bluebirds. Their nesting opportunities are in as much peril as smaller nesting birds. Learn about our larger cavity-nesting birds, what challenges they face, and what can be done to help them. Photo by Lee Pauser.

This program is brought to you by Saved By Nature in an effort to bring you nature from the comfort and safety of your home.
