On Earth Day morning, 9-11:30 AM, join F5C volunteers in El Cerrito’s beautiful Hillside Natural Area. We’ll enjoy wildflowers and views as we remove invasives along the “high road,” starting at the King Court entrance. Tools, gloves, and snacks provided! Plus: this is part of El Cerrito’s Earth Day celebration; all volunteers are invited to a free lunch at El Cerrito’s Community Center.
Wear long-sleeves shirt, long pants, socks, and closed-toed shoes with good traction. Because poison oak is a possibility, this is not suitable for very young children. Meet at 9 AM at the west end of King Court (1190 King Court on Internet maps), below where King and Shevlin Drives meet (north of Moeser).
