Rooted in Sustainability: The power of urban gardening

Tuesday, September 26 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Free

Did you know? The Bay Area’s mild climate is suitable for year-round gardening as part of a sustainable lifestyle. In this virtual lecture, Ania Korsunska of Peas of Mind Gardens will share how urban gardening contributes to the wellness of our bodies, minds, and communities. You’ll learn tips for growing your own food in a limited space and how to recycle kitchen waste into valuable plant nutrients. We’ll also discuss tools to drive personal and collective climate action. Bring your own questions for discussion. “Rooted in Sustainability: The Power of Urban Gardening” will take place virtually over Zoom.

This event is free and registration is required.
