Led by Richard Tejeda founder of Saved By Nature, we’ll take a leisurely stroll along the Old Growth Loop to the scenic creekside Pourroy Picnic Area. From there, we’ll loop around to a moss and fern-covered grotto and a “crazy forest” of twisted trees. Tiger lily garden is the best place to look for large colonies of these bright orange beauties. We’ll take a short side trip to be amazed by The Advocate. At 250 feet tall and 45 feet in circumference, it’s the largest redwood in the park!
