You’ll hike Bob Walker Ridge through native Blue Oak forests and enjoy a close-up view of the eastern side of Mt Diablo from the cliffs where Prairie Falcons nest in the spring. The first half of the hike will be relatively flat, with some single narrow track, followed by gently rolling hills back to the trailhead. If there is significant rainfall in the days before the hike, expect very muddy conditions.
