Join this hike on Save Mount Diablo’s stunning Curry Canyon Ranch on an exploration of the 3 B’s of June – birds, butterflies, and blooms!
You’ll hike up to Frog Pond Road and enjoy the beautiful array of butterflies, blooms, and birds along the way. You may see Bullock’s Oriole, Brown-headed Cowbird, Black-throated Gray Warbler, Rufous-crowned Sparrow, Orange-crowned Warbler and Lazuli Bunting. Butterflies – Skippers, Blues, Swallowtails, Hairstreaks and Checkerspots. Blooms – Scarlet Monkeyflower, Clarkias, Flax, Cream Sacs and Mariposa Lilies.
