Wildflower Hike to a Fresh View

Discover a fresh point of view on our wildflower hike to the backcountry of the park. Expect a medium-paced 12-mile round trip hike through beautiful swathes of spring wildflowers, and mixed evergreens with spectacular views of Sonoma Valley.

For this special hike, dress for changes in the weather; wear hiking shoes; bring lunch and plenty of water, plus hiking poles, if you have them. Expect easy-moderate elevation gain on trails designed for hikers—part of the Bay Area Ridge Trail.

Rain or poor trail conditions will cancel the hike. Meet in the ranch parking lot (turn right after the entry kiosk). Admission is $15 plus parking fee. Please click here to purchase tickets.
