You’re Invited to Come Celebrate Summer on the Greenway!
The Watershed Project invites you to come to our Second Saturday on the Richmond Greenway. Our volunteer community workday is coming up soon and we would love to have you come join us.
Come by to dig in and help take care of the Richmond Greenway, a wonderful community park and cycling/pedestrian path. Come enjoy the green, lush growth of summer as we tend our native plants, learn some useful gardening tips and the how and whys of rain gardens and bioswales!
When: Second Saturday of Each Month
Time: 10:00 am -1:00 pm
Meeting location: 6th Street and the Greenway, between the intersections of 6th St. and Ohio Ave., and 6th and Chanslor Ave. in Richmond.
Tools, water and refreshments will be provided. Be sure to wear closed-toe sneakers or work shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, as well as sunscreen and a hat if weather-appropriate. Bring your own re-useable water bottle if you have one, to reduce our use of disposable items. We’ll be working rain or shine: heavy rain cancels.
