Tennessee Valley (GGNRA)

by on July 08, 2012

Tennessee Valley in the Marin Headlands is popular with hikers and still a great place to see wildlife. Watch for bobcats, coyotes, deer – and very often, raptors soaring overhead. A 1.8-mile, well-groomed trail to Tennessee Cove begins at the trailhead parking lot, about a mile down Tennessee Valley Road. Much of it is wheelchair accessible and bike-able (with connections to Sausalito and Tiburon bike paths and local roads). The park itself is accessible by public transit.
