Robert J. (Bob) Meese recently retired from the Department of Environmental Science & Policy at U.C. Davis after a 23-year career. Bob has worked with tricolored blackbirds for 21 years, has banded over 107,000 birds, and manages the Tricolored Blackbird Portal (tricolor.ice.ucdavis.edu) hosted by U.C. Davis. Bob collaborates with numerous county, state and federal agencies, NGOs, industry partners, and landowners.
