Flowers Everywhere!

In a Facebook post today, Save Mount Diablo writes that this is the best wildflower season many of them have ever seen. Recent sightings include fire poppies and whispering bells, and the rare Kellogg’s climbing snapdragon, Antirrhinum kelloggii, which had only been recorded twice in Contra Costa County or the East Bay before, both times on Mt. Diablo in the 1930s.
