2908 acre Park managed by: California Department of Parks and Recreation
Straddling the mountains between the Napa and Sonoma valleys, Sugarloaf Ridge State Park offers spectacular vistas from windswept Bald Mountain.
The park offers more than 20 miles of trails through shady oak woodlands, open chaparral, and tree-lined meadows watered by Sonoma Creek and its tributaries. During the rainy season, a half-mile hike brings you to Sonoma Creek Falls, which tumbles 25 feet down a rocky channel into a lovely pool.
