The Ruth Bancroft Garden

The Ruth Bancroft Garden is an exceptional demonstration of the art of garden design. Mrs. Bancroft has created bold and varied compositions in which the colors, textures and patterns of foliage provide a setting for her beloved succulents. The three-acre garden began in 1972 and includes aloes, agaves, yuccas, cacti, echeverias and other drought-tolerant trees and strubs.
