California Native Garden Foundation

July 20, 2012 by Bay Nature

The California Native Garden Foundation is a nonprofit educational, research, and resource organization that promotes gardening with California native plants. Our goal is to increase the popularity and use of California’s native plants in the designed landscape and to return our soil to its ecological origins. CNGF awards grants to schools, colleges, museums, and public spaces by offering pro bono garden design, native plants (donated by generous native plant nurseries), and volunteer assistance. CNGF also offers a Distinguished Native Garden certification program for private and public native gardens.
