Bring out your inner party animal to celebrate the new Gallery of California Natural Sciences with a wild weekend of opening events! The weekend kicks off with previews for Donors and Members and a critter-and-creature-filled opening during Friday Nights @ OMCA, and culminates in Free First Sunday. With live music, animal costume contests, dancing, food trucks, all-ages face painting, and family-friendly activities throughout all three levels of the Museum, there’s something for everyone.

Offering a thoughtful and comprehensive representation of the interaction between humans and the natural world, the Gallery features immersive habitat installations, world-class dioramas, and emerging technologies. Hear the story of California’s natural world through the voices of local community members and scientists, and discover how you can make a difference.
