Ann Graham is a naturalist at the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center , which is managed by the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District, and has been leading bird walks along San Francisco Bay’s shoreline for a decade. She is almost a native of Oakland, having moved from the midwest when she was 9, and knows many of the different parks and trails in the area. She has had the opportunity to band songbirds in Humboldt County, Big Sur and Manomet, MA, all of which has lead to a greater appreciation of birds in general, but even more specifically how they migrate and the process of molting.
