Sonya Pevzner is a traveling storyteller based loosely in Boulder, Colorado. She has looked for grizzly bears in remote Montana, taken the trans-Siberian railroad from Moscow to Mongolia, and come out as gay to her Soviet grandparents. She draws from her experiences as a queer Russian-Jewish refugee to tell stories of mental health and social justice.
