TEMESCAL REGIONAL RECREATION AREA: Lake Temescal is one of the three parks which first made up the East Bay Regional Park District, and it continues to be surprisingly rich in wildflowers and wildlife. We will learn a little history, stroll, admire, and enjoy a picnic lunch together as we celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Park District. Temescal is a convenient urban oasis, popular for swimming, fishing, sunbathing, and picnicking.
Bring binoculars if you have them, and some food to share if you like!
