International Women’s Day 2024- Sunset Sail on San Francisco Bay

Join us for a once a year sail to celebrate International Women’s Day. Sit back and relax aboard Schooner FREDA B and learn a little bit about the local women on and around the San Francisco Bay. Some of the great dames will include Sally Stanford, Janis Joplin, Lotta Crabtree, Julia Morgan and Alma de Bretteville to name a few. A story or two about Freda Been will be shared as well.

Board in Sausalito and see the Bay’s iconic sights from the deck of an elegant, traditionally-rigged sailboat. Landmarks we’ll often see include the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Marin Headlands, Angel Island, Palace of Fine Arts, Fort Mason, Fisherman’s Wharf, Coit Tower, and the Bay Bridge, all from the special vantage of the water.

It’s a perfect way to liven up your weekend, an ideal mix of luxury, history and a tall ship adventure!
