Queer Ecology Walk at Bear Creek Redwoods Preserve

Join Grassroots Ecology and Branching Out Adventures at a Midpeninsula Regional Open Space Preserve and learn about how queerness presents itself in the natural world! We will also help eradicate invasive plants and to restore habitat. Volunteers should expect to walk through hilly, and potentially muddy terrain and to carry large 10 – 12 pound tools to remove a large invasive shrub known as French broom.
