Join us starting November through March for our popular Wayne Roderick Lecture series of free public lectures, on a broad array of topics related to plants and natural history. Named in honor of its founder, the Wayne Roderick Lecture Series takes place on Saturday mornings starting at 10:30 AM and begin at the Garden’s Visitor Center auditorium. These presentations are enjoyable for beginners and professionals alike. All lectures are free and open to the public.

February 3: Ben Anderson – In person lecture: Fungi of the East Bay’s Oak Woodlands.
February 10: Celia Ronis – In person lecture: Flora of Crete.
February 17: Marcus Tamura – In person lecture: A Calochortus Crusade: Varied Habitats and Plant Communities.
February 24: Dee Himes – In person lecture: Flora of the Western Himalaya.
March 2: Bart O’Brien – In person lecture: Highlights of the Patagonian Flora.
