As a Publisher’s Circle member, you will be:

Given a complimentary magazine subscription. Bay Nature is a glossy quarterly magazine, filled with science-based stories about our natural world and in-depth journalism on important conservation issues in the Bay Area. Readers treasure every issue for the quality of the writing as well as the original art and nature photography.

Alerted first about Bay Nature’s free curated hikes.  These hikes, led by Bay Nature staff and a naturalist, take you to parks and open space all around the Bay Area. Usually, they are an extension to a story we’ve published and often can’t be accessed by the general public. We limit the number of participants, so getting early notice is a big benefit.

Asked to vote on the next cover.  Every quarter we send our Publisher’s Circle members our final candidates for the cover photo with cover lines and ask for your feedback. You help us make the decision on which image to choose.

Invited to Bay Nature’s quarterly release party.  We celebrate every issue’s publication with a party for the writers, photographers, artists, advertisers, and others who contributed to the issue. You’ll be invited to this fun evening of conversation and networking.

Invited first to all Bay Nature hosted educational events. From time to time we hold in-person educational events, such as this year’s evening with the Exploratorium and Nature in the City. Space is limited so we notify Publisher’s Circle members first to make sure you have a spot.

Listed in every issue of the magazine as Publisher’s Circle supporters. Your name will appear on our Support of Bay Nature page in every issue (unless you prefer not to be listed).

An important part of Bay Nature’s success. We wouldn’t be able to stay in operation without our generous Publisher’s Circle donors. Your support allows us to connect people in the Bay Area to our natural world and encourages people to enjoy and care for nature.
