Saturday, April 20 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Join us to celebrate nature’s bounty on Earth Day weekend at the Marin Stables! Our focus will be patches of invasive French broom along the Canyon and Moore trails. Marin Stables will be providing lunch for all volunteers at noon!

Directions from Sir Francis Drake: From downtown Fairfax, turn onto Bolinas-Fairfax Road. Less than a mile down the road, turn left onto Porteous Avenue; keep right at every turn (Porteous Ave, Wood Lane) until you are at the Marin Stables parking lot. THIS IS A NARROW ROAD – please drive slowly to be respectful of the neighborhood and make it to this event safe and sound.

This is a family-friendly activity suitable for ages 8 and up; volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers under age 18 must have a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian. Tools, gloves, food, and water will be provided. Please dress for variable weather and bring a water bottle.
