Family Hike at Sugarloaf

Come to the park for a peaceful hike through the woods! Join our Docents on this fun family hike that is good for all ages. During this 2-mile hike with 400-ft elevation gain, you will learn about Sugarloaf Park, its plants, animals, and history. This is a free event, but RSVP is required. Click here to register.

Meet outside the Visitor Center. Wear layers, and bring appropriate footwear for muddy/slippery trails, water, sun protection, and if desired, a snack. We invite you to bring a mug or reusable container for your little ones to enjoy hot cocoa post-hike.

Parking fees will still apply. This event will be canceled if there are heavy rains.
